Some experts from Vulnerability Lab discovered that
the most used ZIP program “WinRAR” contains a dangerous gap which allow hackers
to steal your computer data.
Our sources mentioned that this gap was detected on
SFX compressed files on the latest version of WInRAR app (WInRAR SFX v5.24), so
this gap will allow hackers to hack your PC and control the hole operating
system which will give the chance to steal personal informations, but this won’t
happen until the user will open a suspicious SFX file. This SFX file is similar
to ZIP, RAR & ISO.
The developers of WinRAR “RarLab” warned the users to
not open a suspicious SFX file because SFX files are easy to be hacked by
hackers which makes it a chance to bad people to control other PCs and steal
informations from them, so be aware.
A security expert mentioned that this cavity is
treating five hundred million users on the world who are using WinRAR any
version.
