Welcome guys to ALDIN TECNO. Today I will show you an
easy method to deal with an issue that cause a delay for non-powerful PCs. This
issue caused by Youtube is because of using the HTML5 technology in order to
play videos on Youtube. This technology cause a lot of working and processing
in the CPU & GPU.
You can solve this issue be using a plug-in in Google
chrome and Firefox browsers, so you should move to them if you are using
another browser. If you want to download them you can use those links:-
There are two components from HTML5 that cause this
issue when watching Youtube videos, which are “web M VP8 & web M
VP9 MSE”.
If you are a chrome user, you can deal with this issue by opening
chrome store which you can find it from chrome apps then go to search bar and
type in “h264ify” and search for the plug-in or you can get it by
clicking or touching this link. Lastly, download the plug-in and enjoy it.
If you are a Firefox user, you can search for “h264ify”
adds-on on Google search or download it from this link. Then install the add-on
by tapping the green install button and restart the firefox browser when you
finish.
Note: when you play a 144p video, you will see some
lags on the video because of the low resolution. This issue isn’t from the
plug-in, it’s from the resolution.
