Apple finally released the
iphone 6s and the iphone 6S plus at IFA event.
As excepted from Apple, the S series of iphone
have the same design as the previous, but with more hardware enhancements and added
features.
The price of the new
iphone 6S isn’t cheap; it starts from 199$ for iphone 6S while the 6S plus
starts with 299$. Let’s start the full review of the two iphones.
DESIGN
The iphone 6S has the same
design as the iphone 6, with rounded edges and smooth feel which is slippery,
but as Apple calms it’s tough. However, when I wrote about drop test reviewbetween iphone 6 and Samsung Galaxy S6 Edge we saw that the Gorilla glass of Samsung
is tougher than iphone 6 aluminum metal. Hope that they fixed this issue with
the new iphone 6S. Also apple had introduced new color which is Rose. This color
is more for females, but it still looks great.
DISPLAY
The iphone 6S has HD
Retina display with resolution of 1334x750 and density of 326 pixels per inch
which is same as the previous iphone 5s while the iphone 6S plus has 5.5 Full
HD Retina display with resolution of 1920x1080, but the new feature on the
screen is the force touch ability or as called by (3D touch) which gives the
ability to have different tabs with different functions for each tab.
HARDWARE
Both iphones 6S & 6S
plus have A9 chips and 2GB of RAM. As Apple calms the new A9 chip is faster
than the previous A8 with 70% in CPU and 90% on GPU. New camera has been
released for both iphones. 12MP in the rear camera which can shoot 4K videos
and 5MP face time camera. This is a big jump from Apple in the camera section
since the iphone 4s. The battery of 6S & 6S plus is same, but with new IOS
9 & A9 chip the battery life will last longer.
SOFTWARE
Iphone 6S & 6S plus
has IOS 9 by default. This new operating system has lots of features that are related
with 3D force technology also there are
some changes like the new recent apps screen and the new search page which
looks like Google Now page and much more like power saving option.
