In IFA 2015 Samsung and
Motorola show off new generation of smart watches. These new smart watches will
change the idea of normal watches and improve it to advance watches that shows the notification and fitness data when

DESIGN
Each watch has its own
design that attracts people in it. The Moto 360 2 has a classic sleek design
with less bezel comparing to other manufactures that Motorola prouds’ of it
while the Gear S2 has a small display with large bezels, but this time with
rotating bezel which is a new idea from Samsung that gives you the ability to
control the hole Samsung Tizen UI with bezel only. Both watches has a customizable
bands , but with Motorola you can customize more by changing the case of the
watch, the bezel of the watch and the band, so you can change the hole look of
your watch unlike the Samsung gear s2.
DISPLAY
The gear S2 has a 1.2
inches, super AMOLED display with resolution of 360x360 while the Moto 360 2
has two version the small version have 42 mm diameter and the large version
have 46mm diameter. Both versions of Moto 360 2 have LCD display with resolution of 360x360.
HARDWARE
The Moto 360 2 has a quad
core snapdragon processor with Adreno 305 GPU and 0.5 GB of RAM also it has 4GB
of internal storage. The small version of Moto 360 2 has 300 mAh battery while
the bigger version has 400mAh battery however the Moto watch is not supported
by NFC which means we will not find any payment services in this watch until the
next one. Samsung galaxy gear S2 has a dual core Exynos processor clocked by
1.2 GHz and 0.5 GB of RAM also it has 4GB
of internal storage. The battery of gear S2 is pretty small; it has
250mAh for the normal and the classic version while the 3G version has 300mAh
of battery, but Samsung calms that the battery of galaxy Gear S2 can stay for 2
to 3 days with normal use. The Gear S2 has NFC which is supported by Samsung
pay that will be available on November. Both watches don’t have camera lens and
they cannot play videos, but they can play audio which is great for now. Forgot to mention they both have a heart rate monitor.
SOFTWARE
The Gear S2 is worked by Tizen OS that can be connected with your
Samsung android device however you should have android 4.4 Kitkat and 1.5 GB of
RAM also there are several android phones that you can connect the Gear S2 in
it.(List of phones that are compatible with Gear S2: HTC One (original) as well
as its One M8 and One M9, LG’s G Flex, Nexus 5 (2013), and G4, Sony’s Xperia Z2
and Z3, as well as Motorola’s Droid Turbo, Droid Maxx, Droid Mini, Moto X, and
Nexus 6. Some Asus, Xiaomi, and Huawei handsets like the P8 and Ascend Mate 7
are also compatib ) also the gear
S2 will follow the lead of android wear to support iphone devices. The Moto 360
2 is worked by android wear OS which is better than the Tizen OS in look and
services also the latest apps updates and the new apps will come earlier on
android comparing to Tizen.
