Android Marshmallow Features

Google has finally released the name of android M which stands for android marshmallow. This android version will be android 6.0. Google added some features that should be added on android lollipop.

Let’s now see the new Marshmallow features:-

Feature one:- the volume control. Now you can hit the volume button to zero and hit the volume down button again to don’t disturb mode. Also there is an arrow to expand and get mini controls for media volume, ring tone volume, and notification volume.

Feature two: fingerprint reader is built in to android system. This means that you can open your device using fingerprint, you can buy apps from Google play store using fingerprint and you can use Google Wallet (Android pay) with fingerprint. As always from Google it’s an open API. This means that Google incurs manufactures to build fingerprint also it incurs app developers to build fingerprint to their apps.

Feature three: some tweaks added to Marshmallow

Tweak1: The look of the lock screen clock has changed

Tweak2: the quick settings got don’t disturb toggle.

Tweak3: you can control the permissions of the apps individually

Tweak4:copy and paste now selects automatically forward (word by word) which make it easier and faster to select long sentence

Tweak5: you can make AP band hotspot 2.4Ghz or 5Ghz.

Tweak6: a dark theme for settings.

Tweak7: new app drawer which is vertical scrolling and sort Alphabetically also it has a search bar to find your apps easily.

Feature four: DOZ

it reads your phones’ sensor to decide if your phone is idle. If your device is idle with DOZ, it will stop all background activities to get better stand by time.

Feature five: Google now on tap

It’s Google now cards that shows in any app screen in your device. For example: if you are chatting with your friend and your friend taking about a movie you don’t know. Google now on tap will show you every detail about that movie by holding the home button which gives you a card that has information, so it reads what is on your screen and gives you information that will help you.
