TECNO. Today I will show you how to activate hotspot on HTC Verizon devices
without a Verizon SIM card to enjoy tethering your 3G data with a local CDMA SIM
card.
It’s an issue for non US
citizens who wants to get a CDMA smart phone and have a cheap 3G internet
connection. The issue is that the SIM card slot only identify Verizon SIM cards
in order to activate hotspot tethering.
Fortunately an android
developer made an app which is available on Google play store that fixes this
issue, so that you can get unlimited tethering experience with your HTC
device:-
Let’s see how to get this app:-
1.Download an app from Google play store called Foxfi.
2.Open the app then setup
your Hotspot password and the name of the hotspot.
3.Press enable hotspot and
enjoy your secured internet tethering on your Verizon HTC phone.
Note:- this
method may not work on all HTC Verizon phones because of Verizon locked
policies, so you should go to any HTC help store to replace the SIM card slot.
