Yesterday Samsung finally announced the Galaxy Note 5 and the Galaxy S6 Edge
plus. The Galaxy Note 5 comes as expected ,but this time Samsung stays away
from removable battery and expandable storage again. If you want to watch

DESIGN
Samsung Galaxy Note5 is a
combination of Galaxy Note 4 and Galaxy S6 with some changes with S pen. It’s
premium design with curved back glass. Note5 is available with 4 colors: Gold
platinum, Black sapphire, White pearl and Silver titanium. It also comes with
new S pen design in which the top part it is click. The Note5 has a metal frame
that is less by 1mm comparing to the Note4 ,so it’s 7.6mm thick.
DISPLAY
Galaxy Note5 has 5.7
inches, super AMOLED display with resolution of 2560x1440 “Quad HD” with
density of 518 pixels per inch. It also has Gorilla Glass 4, so it’s same as
the S6.
HARDWARE
Galaxy Note5 comes with
Exynos 7420, octa core processor and 4GB of RAM. The Note5 has a micro USB
v2.0, so there is not USB type-C this year with Samsung.
CAMERA
Note5 has 16 mega pixels rear camera with optical
image stabilization, 4k video recording and LED flash. The front facing camera
has 5 mega pixels with auto HDR and quad HD video recording. The Note5 camera
has couple new features:-
- Youtube live broadcasting stream video from the camera app

SOFTWARE
Galaxy Note5 comes with
the latest android version 5.1.1 lollipop with new Touchwiz. The new Touchwiz
comes with new icon pack which is rounded shape that looks better than previous
icon packs, also there is a theme engine if you don’t like the new icons.
Samsung shows new features for the S pen. Feature1, is the screen off memo, so
you can write your memo without unlocking the device. Feature2, scroll capture
,so you can capture a hole article in one screenshot. Feature3, new air command
style which looks more unique, also there are few more applications shortcut to
access easily to them.
BATTERY
Note5 comes with 3000mAh
which is good, but not for 5.7 inches device, so we hope Samsung did some
optimizations to save more power.
PRICE
Galaxy Note5 will be
available in 23th August in the US for 760$ 32GB/ 860$ 64GB.
