Welcome guys to
my blog. Samsung has released a new phone with decent aspects ,but with a high
price coast. Galaxy A series are not a flagship devices ,but they are still
good. The Galaxy A8 is special by its design comparing by other flagships ,so
today I will give a full review about Galaxy A8. Hope you enjoy guys.
Let's start:-
DESIGN
Galaxy A8 comes
with metal UNI body design with non removable back also the back body of the
phone is rounded in the four corners which gives a comfortable feel ,but
because it's from metal and the phone is large you will find some difficulties
in handling. It's 5.9mm thick that means it's the thinnest Samsung smart phone
ever released.
DISPLAY
The screen of A8
comes with 5.7 inches super AMOLED display with resolution of 1920x1080 or full
HD display which comes with density of 386 pixels per inch. The A8 screen is
very visible in outdoor areas.
PERFORMANCE
It comes with Qualcomm
Snapdragon 615 with 2GB of RAM and Adreno 405 GPU. It's a decent aspects that
gives you an awesome gaming experience also good multi tasking experience ,but
you will find some lags when you swipe out from Flipboard however Galaxy s6/s6
Edge have the same issue ,so Samsung didn't do anything to fix flipboard issue.
HARDWARE
It comes with two
storage 16/32GB with option of micro SD card slot that is expandable to 128GB ,so
you won't find a storage issue like some other flagships. The A8 has wifi/Bluetooth/NFC
and LTE cat6. LTE cat6 is only supports Chinese OEMs network as a result you
won't get a 4G connectivity in the rest of the world ,but it has a fast 3G
connection ,so it's not a big deal for some people. Also it has a fingerprint
scanner like the s6/s6 Edge. You can enter up to 4 finger prints at the same
time. The A8 speaker is not the best because of its place beside the rear
camera.
BATTERY
The A8 comes with
3050 mAh which is pretty good for 5.7 phone. The phone idle is awesome it just
take 2 to 3 percent per night. If you are a heavy user you will get 4 hours
screen on time ,but if you are a light to medium user you
will get 5h 49m
screen on time which is great
CAMERA
A8 comes with 16
mega pixels rear camera with ISOCELL instead of Sony sensor and f 1.9 aperture.
The front facing camera is 5 mega pixels with angle selfie shot ,so it's a descent
camera for selfie fans. It's a fast quick camera which give a sharp clean image
in every shot.
SOFTWARE
It comes with android
5.1.1 lollipop with the latest Touchwiz. It's a linear Touchwiz verison compare
with S6/S6 Edge. Also there is a theme engine with A8 ,so if you don't like the
blue stock Touchwiz you can change it.
PRICE
Galaxy A8 will
coast about 800$ form ebay. It's an OEMs version ,so it's only available in
China ,India ,Korea markets.
